Glazed with a raised panel

Glass across the top two thirds and a solid panel below. It is the traditional split and there is a reason for it: the bottom of a balcony door is what takes the knocks, the mop and the rain that gets in, and there timber holds up better than glass. We lacquer or varnish it in whatever tone you want.
