A variation on the classic with fewer, larger panels that let the grain show. Aged oak gives it a warm tone with personality, particularly good in stone houses or rooms with exposed beams; in light oak the same door becomes far brighter. Lacquered white it changes character: the panel reads through the shadow of the moulding rather than through the grain.
