A leaf of angled slats, the traditional answer for rooms that need air: wardrobes, pantries, boiler rooms or the utility room. It lets air through without showing the inside, and in solid wood it does not sag over the years the way board doors do. In oak it goes unnoticed; in walnut it becomes another piece of furniture in the hallway.
